Not Waterproof: While the seat offers some degree of moisture resistance, it is important to note that it is not waterproof. To help limit water penetration, a plastic barrier is included between the seat cover and the main cushion, however water may seep through the needle holes in the stitched design areas, especially where the diamond and stripe patterns are sewn. While it can handle occasional splashes or brief exposure to damp conditions, the surface is not fully waterproof and may absorb water during heavy rain or prolonged wet exposure. It is recommended to use a rain cover or store the motorcycle under shelter to maintain the seat’s condition and longevity. While rainfall or water washing will not damage the seat, it may take some time to dry.

*Gel Pad: A gel pad will be installed by us while making the seat. It acts as a Shock absorber, giving you tailbone support and protecting your tailbone from speed breaker jerks. The best motorcycle Gel seat pad evenly distributes pressure, which reduces numbness. The thickness of the gel pad is 6mm.
*0.5 Inch Foam: This foam will be installed in the seat itself after you place your order. The density of the foam will be 22.

5. Can I send my own seat for customization?

6. Is the seat waterproof?
This seat is moisture-resistant but not waterproof. Water may seep through stitched areas in heavy rain. For protection, use a rain cover or shelter the motorcycle, as it may take time to dry after wet exposure.
Please be aware that any customized logos added to the seat are not waterproof.

I bought this seat model along with a gel cushion last month through online order.
Pros: seat got more padding than stock seat and is more comfortable now.
They do customisations to suit your taste.
Cons: the fitting is not as good as the stock seat. Its a fully assembled seat and just need to install as shown in the YouTube video of sahara seats for interceptor. But the lock portion on the rear side was tricky. Finally got the seat locked in the groove. Now I cannot remove the seat by pulling the lever. Need to take care of it at next service.
This is the first time i am using gel seat pad. Don’t know the effect of it yet as the trips that I go are around 100kms only
