Trident 660 Low Rider Seat has been designed with a reduced seat height to improve accessibility for shorter riders, making it easier for them to place their feet even more on the ground. This adjustment was achieved by narrowing the seat pan in the rider’s sitting area. By doing so, the seat becomes lower, giving riders a more confident and stable footing while at a standstill. However, this modification also means there may be a noticeable gap between the chassis and the seat. This gap might become visible in certain areas, depending on the angle or view, but it’s a trade-off made to enhance the comfort and usability for shorter riders. The overall design ensures that the bike maintains its sleek and functional aesthetics while providing greater control for riders with shorter inseams.

While the seat offers some degree of moisture resistance, it is important to note that it is not waterproof. To help limit water penetration, a plastic barrier is included between the seat cover and the main cushion, however water may seep through the needle holes in the stitched design areas, especially where the diamond and stripe patterns are sewn. While it can handle occasional splashes or brief exposure to damp conditions, the surface is not fully waterproof and may absorb water during heavy rain or prolonged wet exposure. It is recommended to use a rain cover or store the motorcycle under shelter to maintain the seat’s condition and longevity. While rainfall or water washing will not damage the seat, it may take some time to dry.

A 6 mm gel pad can be added to act as a shock absorber, providing tailbone support and protecting against bumps. It helps to evenly distribute pressure, reducing numbness during rides.

The waterproof cover is an extra, user and pocket friendly seat cover designed to protect your seat during heavy rain and while washing. It ensures your seat remains dry and in excellent condition.
5. Can I send my own seat for customization?
Yes, we accept seats for customization. Please contact us for shipping instructions and to discuss your customization options.
6. Is the seat waterproof?
This seat is moisture-resistant but not waterproof. Water may seep through stitched areas in heavy rain. For protection, use a rain cover or shelter the motorcycle, as it may take time to dry after wet exposure.
Please be aware that any customized logos added to the seat are not waterproof.
